I have never been a stranger when it comes to being in front of a camera. There is nothing like dressing up, playing a character, and creating beautiful works of art. My love for being on camera started in elementary school when I was ten years old. I was the news anchor for my school’s morning news program. On top of that, I was very involved in all of our school performances often, times having a particular part in whatever musical we had at the time. I loved it.
In high school, I did some promotional modeling at events and had my first official photoshoot when I was seventeen. I was really young, and my parents wanted me to get a college degree, so I did. I took a break from modeling to focus on my education and earned my bachelor's of Business Administration: Marketing.
I was over the theories and crucial thinking years of my life and wanted a creative outlet after graduating. I picked up modeling again part-time in 2014 after I earned my college degree. I modeled for wedding photographers, portrait photographers, make-up artists, and small businesses in a small town that thrives on entrepreneurship. It was a perfect start because this place breeds acceptance of being a beginner in whatever you want to do. At that time, I would've been considered “freelance.” I was featured in Dark Beauty Magazine for a creative shoot with a highly talented photographer named Lauren, as well as bridal shoot publications for Styled Shoots Across America.
I took some time off from modeling in 2018/2019 to explore life as a Delta Flight Attendant. I was able to travel to many places and experience some amazing things. This period was one of my favorite times in my life. In 2020, as most everyone knows, COVID hit, and I had my first child. I took a step back from flying and learned how to navigate life with a newborn. During that time, I did photoshoots here and there to stay involved with something I loved to do. The only drawback was the industry was not booming during that time, so I spent time with this new adventure of parenthood.
Fast forward to 2021, I competed in my first beauty pageant, and from there, opportunities to really get into modeling blossomed. I was able to walk in NYFW and Miami Swim Week. In February 2022, in NYC, after a test shoot AT. NYFW, I was discovered by my Mother's Agency, Next Paige Management. Two Months later, I was signed with a large commercial agency in Florida called Denise Carol Models after submitting digitals and a video reel. Denise Carol has clients that range from Venus Swimwear, MAC Makeup, and PGA Golf.
I have dabbled in just about every genre of modeling, from beauty, swim, resort, lifestyle, fashion, editorial, creative, bridal, and runway. Check out my work throughout the site! You can probably tell from some of my oldest work the growth I have had as a model. It has been fun to reflect on those images and see where I started to now where I am present. It’s humbling. (haha )I’m constantly updating my portfolio, and I aim to keep it fresh once a year!
I enjoy what I do and love working with other creatives. On top of being in front of the camera, I also love wardrobe style and creative direct photoshoots. I’m able to travel worldwide. If fact, I continue that lifestyle as well, weaving that educational and beautiful hobby within our family life. I’m incredibly grateful to live my dream life and even more fortunate to have my family along for the journey.
I have explored so many different paths in my life, and I keep leading back to this for some reason. I don’t believe you are ever too old to do certain things. There is always something out there for you, even if it’s not the exact route you want to go. Be open to everything and pursue whatever it is that brings your life joy.
With all the love,
